Parker Group has grown internally, expanded services, and continued on our journey to develop a new and improved Greenville, South Carolina. We are excited about more opportunities, expansion, and new developments coming in 2022.
Residential Growth Beyond Greenville
In 2021, Parker Group sold in and serviced 13 towns across Upstate, SC. Greenville is only one part of our success. We were honored to be able to assist clients in Duncan, Easley, Fountain Inn, Greenville, Greer, Mauldin, Pelzer, Simpsonville, Spartanburg, Sunset, Taylors, Travelers Rest, and Williamston.
Overall, we sold a total of 94 homes in 2021 compared to 44 in 2020. That is almost a 50-percent increase in sales year-over-year. Not only that, but our team listed 57 homes in the area, contributing largely to the greater Greenville real estate market.
Commercial Real Estate Serving the Community
Building community is more than putting up new buildings. Parker Group builds with purpose: to bring locals together and establish a familiar face among patrons and local businesses alike.
Our commercial division skyrocketed in 2021, with five properties leased and three purchased. We leased retail, industrial, and office spaces across Downtown Greenville and surrounding areas. Our team was thrilled to assist companies in finding the perfect space as they grow business operations in Greenville, SC.
Developments Designed for Urban Greenville
Parker Group continued to elevate the urban areas of Greenville, SC with the addition of new housing developments. In 2021, our development team completed the listing and selling of three new luxury townhome communities. Falls Walk consisting of 10 total units, NoMa City Terrace consisting of 23 total units, and The Hub consisting of 10 total units all completely sold out.
Parker Group was thrilled to spearhead the development, sales, and marketing for The Hub in Downtown Greenville. Additionally, they led the sales and marketing efforts for Falls Walk, an upscale, luxury townhome complex located near the celebrated Falls Park on the Reedy River in Greenville, South Carolina.
Parker Group Expanded Internally
Overall, 2021 was a year of inspiring internal growth for Parker Group. With the housing market booming and Greenville becoming an increasingly popular place to live, it was “all hands on deck.” We needed to recruit more help to make the buying and selling process as swift as possible for our influx of clients.
We were thrilled to hire a total of 10 new employees and work with two new interns. Additionally, we celebrated another two employees transitioning from part-time to full-time.
When you join Parker Group, you are supported by the whole team, both professionally and personally. In 2021, our team traveled to watch one of our interns play in a Furman University football game.
Not only do we support our employees but also, our community. At Parker Group, we are dedicated to giving back to Greenville, SC. Our expanded group of Greenville real estate professionals serviced the community more than ever before in 2021. They were involved in seven volunteer events including local fundraisers, sponsorships, and events.
