About Rod
Originally from Mexico City, Rod grew up playing tennis and received a scholarship to Memphis State (now the University of Memphis) for college. From there, he earned attention from schools across the states which eventually led him to accept a full-ride offer at North Greenville University. After graduating in 1999, he settled down and started a family. He loves discovering new Greenville spots with his family, going on hikes, or traveling to the beach or lake on the weekends.
Role at Parker Group
Rod is the newest addition to the real estate agent team here at Parker Group. He has always been interested in real estate but developed a real passion for it after a conversation with former tennis student and now TPG CEO, Drew Parker. At that time, Rod was still teaching tennis but also decided to get his real estate license and dedicate more time to learning about the industry. Then, COVID-19 struck, which led Rod to spend more time studying real estate and less time teaching on the tennis court. Now, he is completely immersed in the real estate world and has no intention of looking back.
He says the best part of his job is developing a business he owns and runs but also working in an environment that feels like family. “I care deeply about people and love seeing others accomplish their dreams of owning a home or advancing their life through real estate,” he says. Coming from another country, he is so happy that he can provide for his family and build his future by helping others and giving back to the Greenville community that gave him so much.
