Parker Group Adds to Leadership Team, Expands Services
Forecasts Future Growth With New Additions to the Firm
GREENVILLE, SC – Parker Group, a full-service real estate and development group headquartered in Greenville, announced today the addition of four new team members as part of the company’s vision for future growth.
“These new positions will play a vital role as Parker Group continues to expand its line of services to focus more on Greenville investments and projects in the surrounding areas,” said Drew Parker, founder of Parker Group. “We are always looking for new ways to grow the Upstate. With recently announced projects like the new city center in Mauldin, there’s nothing our team can’t do.”
New hires include Chris Schweighart as VP of Commercial Brokerage, Matt Alexander as VP of Development Operations, Bryan Beal as VP of Capital Markets and Investor Relations, and Kristen Fulfer as Interior Designer and Project Coordinator.
Chris Schweighart, VP of Commercial Brokerage
Schweighart will focus on the industrial sector. He brings over thirteen years of experience in commercial real estate, including industrial properties, mobile home communities, self-storage facilities, medical office buildings, and airports. Prior to his career in real estate, Schweighart enjoyed an eight-year career in education. He taught all levels of Spanish and managed various businesses, including an international travel program, at a college preparatory school in Southern California.
Matt Alexander, VP of Development Operations
Originally from Atlanta, Alexander attended Furman University followed by several years in the Army National Guard as a Blackhawk helicopter pilot. In 2014, Alexander completed Clemson’s Master of Real Estate Development program and has worked in Greenville real estate ever since. Alexander comes to Parker Group from a national hotel ownership and development company where he focused on hotel development and acquisitions around the southeast. At Parker Group, Alexander will be sourcing, underwriting, financing, and closing on new development projects while also supporting Parker Group’s growth through project acquisition.
In addition to his responsibilities at Parker Group, Alexander is involved in South Carolina’s Urban Land Institute Management Committee, serves on the Greenville Airport Commission, Homes of Hope Advisory Council, and Clemson’s Advancement Board for Real Estate Development.
Bryan Beal, VP of Capital Markets and Investor Relations
Beal has personal experience in owning his own real estate investment firm, which will assist him in this new VP position. He has grown his portfolio from six properties to 40 in recent years, several of which were brokered by Parker Group. With years of experience in real estate acquisitions and investing, Beal has unique insight into any real estate transaction and will help clients maximize their investments.
Kristen Fulfer, Interior Designer and Project Coordinator
Fulfer’s degree in Interior Design from Winthrop University helped her career as a commercial interior designer at Pazdan-Smith Group. At Parker Group, she will work with clients to make selections for their homes that reflect their personal taste. The Interior Designer position at Parker Group is a new one that Fulfer will nurture and grow.
