Village Wrench is a non-profit organization that looks to serve and create leaders from under-resourced communities through bike repair. They also offer community bike-building classes and other special events throughout the year.
Greenville is full of great places to ride your bike. After repairing your bike at Village Wrench, be sure to ride the Swamp Rabbit trail, located very close to the Burdette Street Cottages. The City Park expansion project is also near the cottages!
Fill your space with creative, one-of-a-kind furniture pieces from Knack Studio. Owner Barb Blair specializes in giving new life to old furniture pieces. Today, her shop carries everything from kitchen wares and napkins to furniture for any space.
Art and Light Gallery
A similar concept to Artbomb Studios, the Art and Light Gallery features work from about a dozen local artists and has been entertaining the community with trunk shows, gallery openings, and more since 2007.
Greenville Center for Creative Arts
For those who are interested in getting involved in creating their own art, the Greenville Center for Creative Arts offers everything from sampler classes and workshops to full 6-week courses. There are also 16 studio artists who work on the second floor of the building, with open houses and meet-and-greets held monthly. The GCCA also hosts anywhere from six to eight exhibitions each year.
