Jim Canavos, a second-generation restaurateur, was born and raised in Fayetteville, NC. After receiving his undergraduate and graduate degrees from NC State University, he went on to work a variety of roles for a local municipality. Soon after that, Jim’s family found their way to Greenville and never looked back.
As VP of Food and Beverage at Parker Group, Jim brings decades of business startup and consulting experience to his clients. Being involved with several restaurants, he adds a unique blend of end-user experience and analysis to the table. In this new role, he hopes to encourage and create many approachable and elevated experiences in the Upstate.
Jim is inspired daily by his wife, son, and two daughters. In his free time, he loves to enjoy great food and wine, play golf, and enjoy the company of friends and family.
